National Lottery creates 23 millionaires

The National Lottery produced 23 new millionaires last year, along with two EuroMillions jackpot winners, one of whom won close to €100m.

In 2013, players shared winnings of €382.7m, representing 56% of sales, according to the National Lottery’s annual report published yesterday.

The biggest winner of the year walked away with €94m from EuroMillions, while another jackpot winner pocketed €12.8m.
