Coppinger takes seat in Dáil for Socialist Party

By-election victor Ruth Coppinger took her seat in the Dáil for the Socialists yesterday.

Ms Coppinger won a tight battle in Dublin West and was welcomed into the Dáil by her party leader Joe Higgins.

Watched by friends and family in the public gallery, the left wing TD was greeted by other leading figures as she took her seat in the Dáil chamber.
