Latest tallies from Killarney local election area

He is followed by the independent Brendan Cronin at 16.8 per cent and 1805 of the vote and third is independent Michael Gleeson who is coming in at 12.3 per cent with 1,328 votes.
Donal Grady, former town councillor and also independent has 5.8 per cent or 624 votes so far.
John Sheahan, FG, is the strongest of the party candidates with 687 votes, along with John Joe Culloty of Fianna Fail also at 687.
Labour’s Séan Counihan is tallying 4.43 or 476 votes, closely followed by Sinn Féin John Buckley at 3.8 per cent or 417 votes.
The Castleisland and several Killarney town boxes have yet to be tallied.
