Green light for Youghal motorhome complex

East Cork tourism has been boosted after a local authority received planning permission for a motorhome parking complex.

The development, in Youghal, is earmarked for a 6.6 acre site close to Claycastle beach and adjacent to Aura Leisure Centre.

It will feature a 62-bay complex along with 10 coach-parking spaces, an all-weather playing pitch, tennis and basketball courts, a picnic area and playground.
