More than three decades after winning her first Hennessy literary prize, writer Deirdre Madden has been inducted into the Hennessy Literary Awards Hall of Fame.

She was among four writers recognised yesterday at the 43rd Hennessy Literary Awards ceremony held in Dublin.

Brendan McLoughlin, Last Breath (First Fiction); Sean Kenny, Is this Australia? (Emerging Fiction); and David Cameron, Night Singing and B&B (Emerging Poetry) were among the winners.
