More than three decades after winning her first Hennessy literary prize, writer Deirdre Madden has been inducted into the Hennessy Literary Awards Hall of Fame.

A decade of Irish writers will be honoured tonight with the launch of a major anthology in Dublin.

The 2004 Hennessy New Irish Writer Award, in association with The Sunday Tribune and Four Seasons Hotel Dublin, was presented this evening to Newbridge teacher Terry Donnelly for his First Fiction short story 'Singing Dumb'.
