Jimmy Magee to release debut single at the age of 79

Veteran sports pundit Jimmy Magee is to release his debut single — at the grand old age of 79.

The RTÉ star — known as The Memory Man because of his great recall of sporting events — is giving a new touch to the old George Jones single ‘These Old Eyes Have Seen It All.’

And sprightly Jimmy has adapted the country song to give it a distinctly Irish perspective.
