Irish population too small for 'Embarrassing Bodies', says Dr Pixie

You can relax — Channel 4 has no plans yet to bring its Embarrassing Bodies cameras to Ireland.

As work begins on the show’s seventh series, presenter Dr Pixie McKenna said the population here is just too small for it to work, despite the fact that Irish people “often wait for something to fall off” before going to see their doctor.

“In my clinic in London, if Irish patients come to see me, inevitably, there will be some link,” she said.
