The Revenue is using the facilities of Google to target householders who have undervalued their homes in order to limit their property tax liability.

Revenue is to use a combination of Google Maps and Google Street View to track down property they believe to have been undervalued for the Local Property Tax.

Revenue will also employ data from the Central Statistics Office as part of a campaign to force home owners to revise upwards property that has been undervalued.
