The queen of prints, already known for her combination of colours, patterns, and textures, stepped out with the shoe manufacturer to make her first foray into footwear.
Her capsule, retro-style collection featuring five key styles, includes high platform mary-janes, low sling-backs, and chunky wedges.
The shoes, now available from Clarks and Ms Kiely’s official website, retail between €108.34 and €144.45.
Ms Kiely’s signature pattern is on the soles of the shoes, just like Christian Louboutin’s footwear with their shiny, red-lacquered soles.
After training in textile, Ms Kiely began her career designing hats and then moved on to handbags and clothing and a variety of other items, including kitchenware and cars.
Two years ago, she got the royal seal of approval after Kate Middleton wore one of her creations — a dress-coat.
Minutes after the Duchess of Cambridge was spotted in the garment, there was a shopping frenzy on the London-based designer’s website.
The walnut-coloured, wool Jacquard dress in a “birdie” pattern sold out within minutes.
Last November, Kate was pictured wearing the same dress-coat, bought in a sale for €193.60, down from €387.21.
Her mother, Carole Middleton, also wore a Kiely dress last July when she visited her daughter in hospital to see her first grandchild, Prince George.
Ms Kiely has two shops in London and a large shop in New York. Her designs are widely available in retail outlets in Ireland.
