Householders have to wait until August for indication of water bill

It is likely to be August before householders know how much they are expected to pay next year in water charges.

Irish Water customers will learn in April what type of pricing structure the Commission for Energy Regulation is envisaging for customers of Irish Water.

The pricing should include details around standing charges, free allowances, and how a household’s consumption is to be calculated if they do not have a meter.
