Drunk woman kneed bouncer in the groin, court hears

A woman with no previous convictions admitted a charge of assault causing harm arising out of a case where she kneed a bouncer in the groin.

Rachel Clark, aged 33, formerly of Cedarview House, Curraglass, Mallow, Co Cork, pleaded guilty yesterday at Cork District Court to assault causing harm to John O’Dwyer, aged 33, at Phoenix St, Cork, on Sept 29, 2012.

Inspector Bill Duane said gardaí arrived at the Crane Lane premises to find two security men restraining the female at the door.
