Man stabbed to death was home for Christmas from Australia

Gardaí have launched an investigation after a man in his 20s, home from Australia for Christmas, was stabbed to death in Co Dublin.

Another man in his early 30s has been arrested and was being held last night under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

The incident happened at about 5.30am on St Stephen’s Day morning at Rathsallagh Park in Shankill.
