Man found guilty of raping his neighbour

The man who claimed a neighbour wanted him and had consensual sex with him was found guilty of raping her yesterday at the Central Criminal Court in Cork.

The 36-year-old was declared a sex offender by Mr Justice Paul Carney and remanded in custody for sentencing on Mar 4.

The judge also ordered a victim impact report.
