Pain relief tablets in Tesco ice cream
The alert was issued by the company last night after it emerged that pain relief tablets had been discovered in two individual cones in its Tesco 4 Chocolate & Nut Ice Cream Cones.
The alert was also posted on the Food Safety Authority of Ireland website which said the pack sizes being recalled were 4 x 110ml. In particular, the recall refers to products with a best before end date up to and including July 2014.
The FSAI said Tesco Ireland has issued in-store notices requesting customers who have bought the affected batches to return them to a Tesco store.
