They also filmed a video using some locals as extras.

Bono, Larry, the Edge, and Adam used the Bray Head Hotel as their headquarters, and later shot some scenes in Jim Doyle’s pub in the town.

Locals reported a fleet of trucks for the sessions which are connected with their first album release in three years.

While walking along the seafront, the quartet reportedly broke into a version of their old hit ‘Desire’.

The group have just released their first new song in three years.

‘Ordinary Love’ will be featured in the new Nelson Mandela biopic called Mandela: The Long Walk To Freedom, which is being made by Hollywood movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.

Their album, due for release early next year will feature 12 new numbers.

Meanwhile, the seafront was also sealed off due the filming of a TV movie with actor Josh Hartnett.

Josh, along with Timothy Dalton, Billie Piper, and Eva Green, have been filming a movie called Penny Dreadful for a US channel.

Meanwhile, Liam and Noel Gallagher will mend their feud and re-form Oasis, their older brother has told tonight’s TG4 documentary series Guth.

He predicted that the pair will call truce and put the band back to together in the next couple of years.

“I think they’ve got unfinished business. I think Noel regrets walking out the way he did.”
