Leinster House staff disciplined over illegal site log-ons

Leinster House workers have been disciplined over bids to log on to illegal or banned websites — but Oireachtas officials have refused to provided any details.

The information blackout was confirmed as part of additional queries based on the files revealed in today’s Irish Examiner.

The records show thousands of attempts to access porn, nudity, escort, and gambling websites — among other questionable links — have been made by people working in Leinster House since May.
