RTÉ seeks VIP chauffeur — no runarounds please

Budgets may be tight at RTÉ, but the national broadcaster has no intention of putting the squeeze on guests.

The company has issued a tender seeking chauffeur services but nobody with a garage full of compact, nippy runarounds need apply.

The tender stipulates that the vehicles provided for VIP transport must be at least Mercedes S Class or BMW 7 Series models or their equivalent standard in other brands, and “newer vehicles are preferable”.
