‘Shot’ man walks into Garda station

Gardaí are investigating an alleged shooting after a man walked into a Dublin Garda station and pronounced he had been shot.

Gardaí called ambulance services who tended to the man’s wounds before he was brought to the Mater.

The man’s silver Mercedes had been parked haphazardly outside the Store St station, leading to delayed Luas services as it blocked the tramline. The back windscreen had been shot out. Part of Sheriff St was sealed off last night.
