Revenue search ‘heavy-handed’, says Lowry

Fifteen tax officials, with a locksmith on standby, surrounded the home of Michael Lowry before the raid on his gated property.

After gaining entry, they searched furniture, wardrobes, and bedrooms for more than three hours.

According to a subsequent inventory, they left with a small amount of documents which included political statements, handwritten notes, and bank details.
