Kenny: Budget will be last tough one for Coalition

The upcoming budget in the autumn will not be easy, but should be the last difficult one in the lifetime of this government, Taoiseach Enda Kenny has said.

Mr Kenny made his remarks as the Coalition announced details of progress made in boosting job creation in the last three months.

Cabinet ministers are currently considering ways of implementing cost savings and cuts amounting to €3.1 billion.
