Man unzipped girl’s jeans in car, court hears

A woman told a court yesterday that when she was 15 a man drove her to an industrial estate and unzipped her jeans after telling her it was a great place to get a driving lesson.

Eamon Power, aged 35, of Bresheen, Kilmallock, Co Limerick, and also with an address at Green Rd, Kilmallock, pleaded not guilty at Limerick Circuit Court to sexually assaulting the girl on three occasions.

The alleged victim, now aged 19, who cannot be named, said she was shocked and terrified at what occurred and jumped from the car. When she got back into the car, she sat into the back and said nothing.
