Trade union leaders are also set to meet Ireland’s bailout lenders and warn that a “mini-referendum” on austerity has been rejected by Irish workers.

Social Justice Ireland will today tell the troika that the academic argument for austerity policies in fixing Ireland’s economy is dead. The group wants a “new vision” for Ireland’s future.
