The Script’s story of conquering the music world continued last year with figures showing that profits from two firms controlled by band members topped £710,000 (€822,000) for 2012.

The Dublin band — led by Danny O’Donoghue – has just played to three sold out nights at the O2 in Dublin over the weekend where almost 45,000 music fans paid to hear anthems such as The Man Who Can’t be Moved.

The band played the first of three gigs at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast last night with the band’s current world tour taking in Australia, North America, Europe, and Asia.
