Staff at Cork’s largest hospital can no longer get a hot meal at weekends or out-of-hours as the staff canteen does not have sufficient personnel.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) will raise the issue again with management at Cork University Maternity Hospital (CUMH) at a meeting today.

Patsy Doyle, INMO industrial relations officer, confirmed staff at CUMH raised the issue last month when it emerged there was no longer enough catering staff in the canteen to provide hot food.
