Five hospitalised after car smashes into wall

Two men were in serious condition in hospital last night after the car in which they were travelling with three others was involved in a major crash yesterday afternoon.

The accident happened in the centre of Whitechurch village, around 10km north of Cork City, at about 12.30pm.

The blue Nissan Almera smashed into a wall.
