Greek tragedy
IT WAS long past midnight and all was still on this June morning. Suddenly, a window shattered and five men cloaked in black broke into a small single-family dwelling on a quiet Athens street, home to four African immigrants.
The invaders were in their 20s, carried extendable batons and wore shirts emblazoned with logos of the Greek neo-Nazi party, Golden Dawn. The attack lasted just a few minutes, but it was long enough to leave one immigrant severely injured.
