Gardaí still appealing for witnesses to man’s death beneath city bus

Gardaí are still seeking witnesses to the horror accident in Dublin city centre last week in which a man was crushed by a bus after a row involving a number of homeless people.

One man in his late 20s who was arrested after being identified through shop security footage is scheduled to appear in court this morning charged in connection with the incident.

But investigating officers are appealing to shoppers and other pedestrians who saw what happened or witnessed any of the altercation that preceded it to come forward to help them clarify the sequence of events.
