Almost 3,000 bank staff earn over €100k

Almost 3,000 staff working in bailed out banks are earning over €100,000 each year in pay and perks

Department of Finance figures show out of the 2,949 employees earning over €100,000 per year, 326 take home over €200,000, 104 earn over €300,000, 48 earn more than €400,000, and 27 take home over €500,000 per year.

Twenty employees of Bank of Ireland are earning over €500,000 while the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (formerly the Anglo Irish bank) has seven staff earning that much.
