Thousands pay their respects to Gilmore sisters

There were harrowing scenes of grief as heartbroken parents John and Michelle Gilmore watched their two “little princesses” being laid to rest yesterday.

The couple’s only children, two-year-old Kate and 12-week-old Grace, died in a road accident in Galway on Sunday.

Thousands of mourners gathered in support at the church, where the couple were married just over four years ago.
