Fatal stabbing linked to sex trade

A man who was stabbed to death in Cavan on Saturday night was singled out by two men who forced their way into his apartment block.

A man in his 40s was arrested last night and was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 .

The victim, who was in his 40s, was originally from Romania and had only moved into the apartment at Connolly St, Cavan Town, in recent days.
