World’s fastest man shapes up for visit to Donegal

Usain Bolt told Highland Radio in Co Donegal yesterday he is hoping to visit the county next season.

Bolt’s manager Ricky Simms is from Milford in Donegal and has spoken up his native county to Bolt.

The Jamaican was asked if he planned to visit Donegal.

“That’s a good question, I have been asking him [Ricky] the same question for a while, probably next season so we’ll see,” said Bolt

“I’m looking forward to it.”

Bolt said he had nothing but praise for his Irish agent Simms, who has been with him for a number of years.

“We go back a long way. He really has my back,” said Bolt.

The 100m, 200m, and 4x100m Olympic champion revealed he was not even 100% fit for the Games but was “in good shape”.
