Walsh wins right to all ‘Sun’ probe documents

Louis Walsh has been told in the High Court he is entitled to discovery of documents relating to The Sun newspaper’s investigation into a Garda probe into an alleged sex attack by him on a man in a nightclub toilet.

The allegations made by Leonard Watters, 25, against Walsh were false and Watters was sentenced to six months in prison last January.

Mr Justice Iarfhlaith O’Neill ruled yesterday that MrWalsh was entitled to all documents associated with the newspaper’s crime writer Joanne McElgunn’s investigation into assertions and allegations concerning Mr Walsh and Watters.
