Rabbitte attacks €12m action against An Post

Communications Minister Pat Rabbitte has criticised ComReg for continuing with a legal action against An Post which could land the postal provider with a fine of almost €12m.

The action being taken by ComReg is for failure to meet delivery targets.

In 2004, ComReg told An Post it had to achieve a next-day delivery standard of 94% for single piece priority mail delivered within the State.
