Varadkar forecasts Cabinet reshuffle

There will be a Cabinet reshuffle next year or in 2014, a Government minister has predicted.

Transport Minister Leo Varadkar made the seemingly off-the-cuff comments just a few days after he was slapped down by Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore for expressing personal views on other issues.

Mr Varadkar signalled there would be a mid-term reshuffle when commenting at an aviation conference on his desire to see Shannon Airport granted its independence as soon as possible.
