Jed-lagged twins rule out third Eurovision bid

Just 200 Jedward fans turned up at Dublin Airport last night to welcome their heroes home from Azerbaijan — where they only managed to finish in 19th place in the Eurovision Song Contest.

But a visibly slowed-down John and Edward Grimes managed to put on a brave face, claiming that they had gained many new fans and brought attention to Eurovision.

Speaking at a small conference in the VIP area of Terminal One, the duo said: “We came in 19th, but so many people never even made it out of the semi-finals. But Sweden had a great song and after the contest they even wore Jedward hair.”
