Dáil ‘likely to lose 8 TDs’

Cork, Kerry, and Tipperary could all lose Dáil seats under a redrawing ofconstituency boundaries.

A number of constituencies are set to be redrawn because of population changes outlined in the latest census and the Government’s pledge to reduce the number of TDs.

The Constituency Commission established last year to review the constituencies has until June 29 to take the Census data into account and report back to the Dáil.
