Cork writer earns Bafta nomination for ‘Misfits’ tweets

Mike O’Leary, from Blackrock in Cork, has been nominated for a Bafta award in the new media category. The nomination is for the tweets he writes for the characters of the hit show, Misfits, on E4.

The show consists of several characters who meet while doing anti-social behaviour orders. The twist is that each of them has a superhuman power which they must keep secret. One of them, for instance, cannot be killed while another can become invisible.
