Tubridy can succeed in Britain, says Wogan

Tubridy can succeed in Britain, says Wogan

Wogan, who was guest of honour at the Mayor of Limerick’s annual ball last night, described Tubridy as an established and veteran broadcaster in Ireland who should simply “be himself” when he temporarily takes over the BBC 2 breakfast show when current presenter Chris Evans goes on holidays.

“He shouldn’t try to be anything but himself. If he doesn’t feel things are going particularly well on a given day, he shouldn’t let the pressure get to him because it will be fine the following day,” Wogan said.
