Style icon Beyoncé tops beauty list

People magazine has named Beyoncé the world’s most beautiful woman for 2012, describing her as a force of nature, style icon, and proud mother.

The 30-year-old singer, a 16-time Grammy Award winner, told the magazine that her recently born daughter had given new meaning to her life.

“I feel more beautiful than I’ve ever felt because I’ve given birth,” said Beyoncé. “I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth.”
