Gardaí quiz several farmers as part of gorse fire investigations

Gardaí have interviewed several farmers in Kerry as part of their investigations into recent gorse fires.

Two men, one in his 70s and the other aged 65, have been questioned in the Caherciveen area while a man in the Castlemaine area has also been interviewed.

Gardaí confirmed the probe was continuing and that a file may be sent to the DPP.
