A man arrested while climbing out of a charity clothes bank committed a crime that was “the lowest of the low”, a judge said yesterday.

Gardaí arrested Dimitru Pirvu, aged 24, of Willsbrook Drive, Lucan, after a man detained at a Breast Cancer Ireland clothes bank, bagging clothes in the back of a van, expressed concern for his friend, who was still in the container.

Gardaí were called to the scene by a concerned citizen.
