Niall lives the jetsetting dream with One Direction

Teen pop sensation Niall Horan has revealed he is doing his own take on the backpacking dream by jetting to Australia to a horde of hysterical fans.

The One Direction star told how he is doing a distinctly starrier version of the Irish gap year as he heads Down Under with his bandmates.

The five lads flew out of America last night after their record-breaking assault on the US charts and a coveted Saturday Night Live performance.
