Siptu criticises McHenry for Vita Cortex defence

Siptu has hit back at golfer John McHenry for how he defended his father and brother-in-law’s role in the bitter Vita Cortex dispute.

Siptu said it was obvious from Mr McHenry’s article, published in Thursday’s Irish Examiner, that he was not “adequately informed” about the dispute.

Nama has frozen the account of a Vita Cortex sister company that Mr Ronan says should be used to pay redundancies. Despite the intervention of the Labour Relations Commission, Mr Ronan has not yet agreed to hand over an asset that would allow Nama release the funds.
