Shopping centre and retail park to provide 14 new jobs

FOURTEEN food service jobs come on stream in two separate restaurant openings in Cork’s Mahon Point shopping centre and in its nearby retail park this week.

And traffic improvements due to start shortly at the notorious Mahon Point entrance junction should see a 25% capacity access increase at peak times, says centre manager Justin Young.

Due to open today is a coffee kiosk at the Mahon Point Retail Park, which is anchored by B&Q. It’s the first food offering in the retail park, occupied by the likes of Halfords, Home Store, Hickeys, Argos, and Currys, next to motor dealers Johnson and Perrott.
