Undocumented migrants march on Dáil

HUNDREDS of undocumented migrants and their families marched on Leinster House at the weekend to highlight the plight of an estimated 30,000 foreign nationals who are here without legal papers.

Lobby group Justice for the Undocumented Campaign called on the Government to provide a solution similar to the one it is advocating for the undocumented Irish in the US.

In a candle-light march to the Dáil, protesters carried a giant banner with ‘Justice for Undocumented’ written in Christmas lights, as others held giant stars saying ‘Santa is Undocumented too’.
