Corkman had no heartbeat when paramedics arrived, inquest told

David O’Mahony, 22, from 8 McSwineys Villas in Cork, was flat-lining and wasn’t breathing when the first team of paramedics arrived at his house at around 8.20pm on November 14, 2007.

On the third day of the inquest into Mr O’Mahony’s death, Cork City Coroner’s Court was told yesterday that he did not respond to extensive medical intervention — including CPR and two injections of Narcon, a drug used to reverse the effects of opiates such as heroin.
