Taxmen party like it’s €19.99 plus VAT

A DOZEN tax inspectors will be among the revellers at tonight’s Prince concert in north Dublin.

Revenue confirmed that officers will be quizzing stall operators and their employees about their taxes while up to 30,000 music fans enjoy the gig at Malahide Castle.

Revenue is targeting cash businesses as part of a probe into Ireland’s multimillion- euro black economy during the recession.
