Man held over €420k drug haul

A MAN has been arrested in connection with a €420,000 cocaine seizure in Dublin.

Gardai said that, as part of an ongoing investigation, detectives from the national drugs unit carried out a search of an apartment at Blackhorse Avenue.

Cocaine with an estimated street value of €420,000 (subject to analysis) was seized during the course of the search.

A man aged in his 30s was arrested and detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act, 1996.
