Man killed in Dublin centre

A MAN has died after a serious assault in Dublin city centre yesterday.

The assault took place at Wellington Quay and Fownes Street junction at around 4pm.

The 40-year-old victim was transferred to St James’s Hospital, where he died from his injures.
